Insurance Information

Many health insurance companies cover the cost of acupuncture and injections. Our office accepts all major insurances including United Health Care, Cigna, Aetna, AvMed, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Worker’s Compensation cases. Every company offers different plans to choose from, some of which include acupuncture benefits and some of which do not. Your insurance policy may include acupuncture coverage.

In order to best serve you, we can verify your insurance benefits before you arrive. Please click on the link below and complete the online form. Our office will contact you as soon as the benefits are established.

Some of the answers that we will obtain for you are:
  • Does your policy cover acupuncture?
  • Does your coverage have any exclusions or limitations?
  • Do you have in or out-of-network coverage?
  • Do you have an annual deductible?
  • Do you have a co-payment or co-insurance?
  • Do you have an annual visit limit?
If your insurance policy covers our acupuncture treatments, we will bill your insurance provider for our services. If your insurance policy does not cover our services or your deductible has not been met, then you will be responsible for the cost of treatment at the time of service.

Is Acupuncture a Covered Expense with HSA and FSA?

Acupuncture is considered an “eligible expense” for FSA, HSA, and HRA accounts. Some plans will require you to submit a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), which we are happy to help you with.
